I am impressed with the new GUI in Office 2007 but I am not impressed with the fact it has messed up my Outlook Express the way it has. As I paid an arm and a leg for this - I am now forced to using the full Outlook 2007 and forget about Outlook Express. But Outlook Express still only has the French language available. I have tried just about everything, uninstalling Office 2007 and reinstalling it. So I then removed Outlook 2007 - but by that time, my Outlook Express had decided that it was using the French language and there were no other options available. You are right - despite the fact that I had Office 2003 (minus Outlook 2003) previously installed - it still installed Outlook 2007 by default even after I had chosen the upgrade path. I installed the UK language version - and the UK language dictionary was chosen as default. ![]()
